たちのき【立ち退き】

〔移転〕 removal; moving out; 〔撤退･明け渡し〕 evacuation; eviction; 〔(家主などによる)明け渡し請求〕 a request to leave 《an apartment》.

●人に立ち退きを命じる order sb to leave [move out of] 《a house》

・立ち退きを食う[食らう] be forced to move; be evicted

・借家人に立ち退きを命じる give a tenant an eviction notice [a notice to leave]

・区画整理のために早期立ち退きを迫られている. They demand that we move out as soon as possible so that replanning of the district can go ahead.
